I’m 47, in sales and had been hiding my smile for about the last 25 years, for the usual reasons…a discolored tooth here, a broken tooth over there, inconsistency in length, you name it, I had it!
Luckily, I was referred to Dr. Hughes by a mutual friend.
For our initial meeting, Amy asked for a picture of me smiling for reference and I had to go all the way back to my 8th grade class photo.
The process started with a conversation about my current condition, the different options available to me, the costs, the timeline and the different outcomes. I was 100% involved and educated during the process, which was really great.
My only regret is that I didn’t meet Amy, Jackie and team earlier!
P.S. I have a new problem now…explaining to everyone why I’m always smiling!
Madalon’s Story
This patient wanted to improve the look of her smile. We decided upon doing all the upper and lower teeth that are in the smile line. The overall result gave her a more youthful, clean and healthy appearance. Bonus: With the teeth being smooth and straight this also provided a functional side effect of lowering her risk for decay since she won’t trap anywhere near as much plaque!
Jon’s Story
He originally thought he wanted whiter teeth. After numerous times of bleaching, without the results he wanted, we were able to figure out that he not only wanted whiter teeth but a whiter, straighter, bigger/fuller smile. He started thinking about veneers after seeing what Dr. Hughes had done for a previous patient. We were able to give him exactly what he wanted with 8 veneers and laser bleaching for the lower teeth. He ended up with a more youthful smile that makes him look and feel younger! Now I get complements everywhere I go about my smile!
Julia’s Story
I had looked into veneers 10 years ago, but did not have the confidence in the dentist I was seeing at the time. After orthodontics I had spacing between my teeth that was filled in with tooth-colored fillings. This left me with an uneven color and shape. With the pandemic I was spending so much time making videos and on zoom calls and I was noticing my teeth more and more. I finally found the confidence I was looking for in Dr. Hughes to move forward with treatment.

Both my wife and I had major veneer, crown and bridge work done by Amy Hughes. It was the best present we gave ourselves. She’s very professional, is excellent at her profession, is super friendly and goes out of her way to make sure your new smile design is what you desire. She surrounds herself with a top-notch team both in the dentist practice and the office.
